RECENT PROJECTS

    Machnik Bros. has considerable experience designing and implementing a wide variety of high-end residential, commercial and municipal construction projects. Our motto is, “If you want it, we can build it.” While we work on a wide variety of project types, some of our recently completed jobs include:

• Bayberry Lane State Boat Launch
  • Upgraded the existing site by adding a larger ramp, bulkheads with floating docks, additional parking and solar light.
    
    
• DEP Mandated Boat Wash Water Collection Systems
  • Installed at Gwenmor Marina, Reynolds Marina, Crockers Boat yard, Brewer's Yacht Yard Mystic.
    
    
• Old Lyme School Bus Parking Lot
  • Built a new facility with a modular dispatch building, underground stormwater detention system, above ground fuel tank, site lighting and parking for 40 buses.
    
    
• Connecticut Valley Hindu Temple Sitework, Middletown, CT (Barun Basu Associates)
  • Site work, blasting, excavation, utilities, paving
    
    
• Gardner Lake Boat Launch, Salem, CT (CT DEP)
  • Upgraded the existing site by adding solar lights, a handicapped-accessible pier, parking, and walks
    
    
• Pedestrian Bridge Over Mashamoquet Brook State Park, Pomfret, CT (CT DEP)
  • Replaced the old bridge with a new galvanized steel structure with code- compliant railings and handicapped-access with minimal disturbance to park visitors and the environment
    
    
• Shaw’s Cove Dredging, New London, CT (City of New London)
  • Mechanically dredged approximately 1,500 cubic yards of soil from Shaw's Cove in New London and restored proper drainage flows and navigable water depths
    
    
• Town Woods Recreation Facility, Old Lyme, CT (Town of Lyme & Old Lyme)
  • Completed the town's sports complex by adding both a Little League and a softball field with a multi-use soccer/lacrosse field. Machnik Bros. is especially proud of this hometown project
